  • It's been a while since we've experienced this as a "ruby on rails blog". All of the "Recent Entries" are about SEO..
  • imo, the only quick methods to rank better is finding backlinks from related sites as much as i can. cmiiw :)
  • I agree with your SEO methods, but please add some advice on how to optimize the targeting keywords correctly because over optimization keywords like keywords stuffing will burn the site down. cmiiw.
  • How can you grade Yahoo directory and Dmoz same as those link farms? The former two do enhance search result positions. I see most, if not all, SEO analysis tools including finding from Yahoo & Dmoz for their scoring.
  • I Like Google Traffic Estimator Sandbox and Keyword Tool but is is also good to run a test PPC campaign to see which ones preform good.
  • Google also has a keyword tool and its free . Works for me. DMOZ is dead. Fill it , submit it and forget it and Yahoo Directory is highly priced, not sure if it is worth $200 hmm..
  • the most keyword tools are not bad, but the hardest thing is to find the keys where brings the money.
